Mad River Glen will provide the existing décor, tables and chairs. Linens and table arrangements/decorations can be provided for an additional charge. Please have all decoration ideas approved by the management, as some restrictions do apply. The Kitchen Fee ensures use of the kitchen and amenities. Please note that a $250 Cleaning Fee will be assessed if the kitchen space used is not left in the condition in which it was rented.
We request a deposit of $200 to hold the date of your event. The deposit is required to guarantee the date and time desired and is non-refundable; all deposits received are applied to the final balance. Bar Facilities and Guidelines:
Vermont State law requires Mad River Glen to purchase and serve all liquor on the premises. Liquor can only be served and consumed inside the Basebox and on the deck; NO outside beverages are permitted. These are restrictions of our liquor license. Absolutely no liquor can leave the deck unless prior arrangements have been made to file for a permit to extend our license. This would allow alcohol to be taken off the deck, though it would still need to be contained to a certain area. Two months’ advance notice is necessary to file for this permit and an additional fee of $300 would apply.

Bartender: $20.00/hour
Cash Bar: Guests pay for their own drinks
Soft Bar: Beer & Wine are paid for by the host, all other drinks are paid for by the guest
Open Bar: All drinks are paid for by the host based on consumption.
Open and Soft bars prices are by the keg and, or, bottle for beer and by the bottle for wine. Liquor is by the drink. Please ask to see our Beer and Wine Lists for complete selections.

House Catering Guidelines:
When using Mad River Glen house catering, no Kitchen or Cleaning Fees will be assessed. For these events, we will provide the linens and decorations for the buffet tables only. Linens and decorations for the dinner tables may be rented at an additional charge.
