General Stark's Pub is recognized as one of the World’s Top Apres Ski Bars by Men’s Journal Magazine. Come and discover how special and unique Mad River Glen can be during the warmer months. Where else can you go for a beautiful hike in the Green Mountains and return to the base for a cold beer, awesome food, a gorgeous setting and topped off with that famous Mad River Glen conviviality? You can sit outside on the deck under the shade of an umbrella and listen to music, or play ping pong, horse shoes or just have a football toss out on the lawn. It’s a great, affordable gathering spot for friends and families with plenty of room for kids to explore.

Great home-style food and the famous Mad River conviviality are hallmarks of the Mad River Glen ski experience. During the ski season there are three outlets in which
to enjoy.

The cafeteria serves breakfast and lunch and is famous for its burgers but also has a wide range of great choices including a salad bar, homemade soups, our
famous chili, awesome baked goods, hand-thrown pizza and a morning yogurt bar.

General Stark’s Pub offers a full bar and table service for lunch and apres ski. There is a great selection of Vermont micro-brews along with a hearty pub menu. There is often live music in the pub after skiing, a big 'ole TV for watching sports and a confortable place to swap ski stories with friends.

On the mountain you’ll find the Birdcage Lodge, located halfway down the Sunnyside Double at the base of the Birdland Double Chair. “The Cage,” as it is affectionately known, is open on weekends and holidays offering a menu of grilled sandwiches, hot dogs and sausages, baked goods and a wide variety of hot and cold beverages.
