Mad River Glen is a unique mountain, so it makes perfect sense that we take a unique approach to ski instruction. There is no better way to improve your skiing than to have a Mad River Glen instructor help you develop your technique. We encourage our instructors to work with you to develop a plan to suit your needs. Whether you want to move beyond the intermediate plateau that you’ve been stuck on or finally learn to tackle those legendary moguls, our instructors will help you achieve your goals. Mad for Moguls
The Mad River Glen Ski School guarantees that they can make mogul skiing easier. The goal is to coach a mogul technique that is easier on your body and allows you to ski moguls for your whole life! This is a paradigm shift for a lot of people and their image of mogul skiing - it's not the slam bam skiing you see on the Olympics-that's for young cartilage! Skiers of all ages will love this new program and it is a must for anyone who wants to be able to tackle our legendary bumps! These all day clinics are available Thursday through Sunday and during holiday periods by reservation only. Maximum of 2 skiers per group. These clinics begin at 10 AM with a 2-hour morning session designed to assess your abilities and introduce you to the philosophy. Then after lunch you'll get another 2-hour clinic to focus on becoming the kind of all-mountain skier you want to become.
